Tackers (age 8-11)

Tackers 1

Ideal for children with no prior sailing experience. Sailing small boats in pairs & having fun on the water this is a great way to build confidence. Boats & life jackets are provided.

Remember to bring a towel, change of clothes, hat, water shoes or old sneakers & a wetsuit if you have one. Kids receive a certificate of achievement. More information about this course is available on the Discover Sailing website.

Tackers 1 Course will next run from October 12th - December 8th , from 8:30am to 12:30pm each day.

Tackers 2

After completing Tackers 1, if kids are confident, they can sail a boat on their own with lots of support and encouragement from the instructors. In Tackers 2, students will build on the skills and confidence gained from Tackers 1. Boats and life jackets are provided, and students will receive a certificate of achievement on completing the course. More information about this course is available on the Discover Sailing website.
